I got there a little late this morning, not physically but mentally.
On my way over someone blew through a red light long after it was red. Thankfully, I waited for them to stop which they didn’t so no accident but boy did I lay on my horn.
The adrenaline of laying on my horn and getting agitated at people who blow through red lights stayed with me for a bit after I found my bench and sat down.
It wasn’t until after several deep breaths and praying to let that go that I really fully arrived at my spot.
It was only after I let it go did I hear the birds, feel the air and see the view.
Only after.
Thankfully, I had tools to use this morning. When I don’t use them, I hold onto that stuff and can’t see the beauty around me.
Grateful.
